I explored the countryside north, west and south of the Crossroads for several days while I waited
for the conflicts in Steinkreis to blow over. Seemed it had spread from the Lords castle, since the guards and the
commoners of Steinkreis also was argueing a lot. Never got what they where argueing about...
I found a cave with a giant wolf in it, I backed out and got away without the wolf attacking me. Puh.
Else I fought some goblins and kobolds, and a stray cougar. By night the starving wolves showed up,
and I had to fight a few of them too, poor creatures.
During the time I also found some time to meditate, and hone some of my fighting skills. Closeing
in on my goal of perfect balance in mind and body. But I still have a long way to travel on that
road.
When I returned to Steinkreis, things seemed to have quieted down, and I got an audience with the
Lord. He read the report, and seemed a bit worried, asking me if I am an adventurer. I confirmed that
and one of the counselers, a elven lady, told of a problem in the woods called Feywood. Since their
scouts where busy elsewhere, they asked me to investigate the area. There went rumors about dangerous
creatures, stripping animals to bones in no time...
I hesitatly agreed to do some scouting, and went of to find someone to help me on this quest. I dared
not go alone on such a mission...
